Today I produced washers from delrin (POM) for the emergeny canopy release mechanism at the 4 pins who fix the frame to the sliding track mechanism.
Later the day I had to organize spring steel (stainless) 2mm for the front canopy latching system.
Then I constructed the 2 levers for the emergency release. Bending the 1,5mm aluminum was failry simple, but I applied a too tight bending- radius so the aluminum cracked. Therefore I increased the the bending radius with great success :)
After that part, I took the spring steel and formed it, cut it, so it would release the pins when turning the lever about 90° inwards.
I did also order the U-profile rubber piece to guard the spring steel from unwanted actuating.
